This Privacy Policy explains what information GritForge collects, how we use it, and your choices about it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).

Usage data: the programs, workouts, and sets you log; if you own or work at a gym, the gym, staff, membership plan, and class data you enter.

Payment information: we never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor; we store only what Stripe returns to us (such as a card's brand and last four digits, and subscription/invoice status).

2. How We Use Information

To provide and improve the Service, process payments and subscriptions, communicate with you about your account, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us run GritForge — currently Stripe for payments. If you're a gym member, the gym you join can see your membership and booking details. We don't sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records (e.g. for tax or payment compliance).

5. Your Rights

GritForge is based in Scotland, United Kingdom, and processes personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in. We don't currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
